Conference on the theme “Acting to maintain biodiversity, our collective responsibility” organized on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 on the premises of ISM-IAE / UVSQ, with the intervention of Mr. Allain Bougrain Dubourg, President of the LPO France association.
Some 3.5 billion years ago, life appeared on our planet. But while we've walked on the Moon, we only know about the two million species that inhabit our Earth. What we do know is that biodiversity has been in alarming decline for many years. The cause? Intensive agriculture, artificialization, global warming and the proliferation of invasive species. What does the future hold for the natural world on which we depend? What place do we give to animals? What role can everyone play, from citizens to companies? Allain Bougrain Dubourg is keen to shed light on these issues and share with us his fight for biodiversity.

About Allain Bougrain Dubourg:
President of the LPO France association, Allain has presented wildlife television programs that have raised the awareness of millions of French people over the years, and continues to present columns and programs on the radio. Producer and director of numerous wildlife documentaries, he is also the author of some fifteen books.
He is a member of several bodies, including the Fondation pour la Recherche sur la Biodiversité (Foundation for Biodiversity Research), and is involved in numerous national and international organizations dedicated to biodiversity.
